Built with the Down syndrome community in mind, for the youngest members first

The juggling act is real: pediatrician, geneticist, feeding therapist, speech therapist — and a shelf of half-finished bottles for a kid who may or may not feel like swallowing a capsule on a Tuesday.

Kids' Daily Greens + Nutraceutical Blend is the opposite of that shelf.

Dr. Blake Butler, DC, built this blend for the kids and teens in the community: nutrients in forms a young body can actually use, doses sized for development, and a scoop that mixes into juice or a smoothie without a fight.

One scoop. One routine. One less thing to guess at.

What a scoop supports*
  • Healthy brain development and cognitive wellness
  • A balanced immune response
  • A happy, growing gut
  • Steady daily energy
  • A strong nutrient foundation for growing bodies
Your simple plan
  1. Mix one scoop into water, juice, a smoothie, or oatmeal.
  2. Stir well.
  3. Serve with breakfast, and get on with the morning.

A steady daily rhythm a real family can keep.

Why practitioner-formulated matters for kids

"Practitioner-formulated" means a clinician decided what's inside, at what dose, and just as importantly, what's not inside. This blend deliberately leaves out ingredients without a comfortable safety record for children — like ginkgo, cordyceps, and chaga. Blake has postgraduate training through The Institute for Functional Medicine; the formulation reflects the same lens he'd bring to a pediatric conversation.

What's inside, and why

Brain · Mood · Energy

Methylated B-Vitamins (B12 + 5-MTHF Folate)

Bioactive forms a child's body uses immediately. Supports healthy methylation, brain development, memory, and mood.*

Memory · Learning

Choline

One of the most underconsumed nutrients in a typical kids' diet. Fuels acetylcholine — central to memory and learning — and supports liver function.*

Immunity · Growing Bones

Vitamin D3

Supports normal immune function and healthy bone development — especially important for kids who don't get much sun.*

Immunity · Growth

Zinc & Copper (Balanced Ratio)

Zinc for immunity, cell division, and thyroid. Copper for red blood cell formation and healthy iron metabolism. The balance matters — too much zinc alone can deplete copper.*

Antioxidant · Thyroid

Selenium

An antioxidant mineral that supports normal immune function and thyroid health.*

Calm · Sleep

Magnesium

A favorite for kids who have a hard time winding down. Supports a calm nervous system and restorative sleep.*

Glutathione · Detox

N-Acetylcysteine (NAC)

A precursor to glutathione, the body's signature antioxidant. Supports normal detoxification, liver function, and a balanced inflammatory response.*

Inflammatory Balance

Curcumin (from Turmeric)

A polyphenol traditionally used to support a healthy inflammatory response and antioxidant status.*

Cognition · Nerve Function

Lion's Mane

A functional mushroom that supports cognitive wellness and healthy nerve function — at a thoughtful pediatric dose.*

Memory · Focus · Learning

Bacopa monnieri

An adaptogenic botanical traditionally used to support memory, focus, and learning.*

Antioxidant · Gut Lining

Polyphenol-Rich Greens

Plant compounds that protect growing cells from oxidative stress and support gut lining integrity.*

Inflammatory Balance · Taste

Cinnamon

A warming spice for inflammatory balance and healthy blood sugar already within the normal range. Also helps the scoop taste good.*

Microbiome · Regularity

Chicory Root (Prebiotic Fiber)

A prebiotic that feeds the beneficial bacteria in your child's gut, supporting a healthy microbiome and nutrient absorption.*

Together: normal immune function, cognitive wellness, gut integrity, and endocrine balance during some of the most important years of development.*

I built this blend for the youngest members of our community — the kids and teens we want to set up for the strongest possible start. Every ingredient earns its place, and what's left out matters just as much as what's in.

Dr. Blake Butler, DCFunctional Medicine Physician · Founder, Down for Greens
Who it's for
  • Children and teens with Down syndrome, ages 4 and up
  • Parents building a consistent daily routine at home
  • Families working with a functional or integrative care team

Loop in your child's pediatrician or geneticist before starting any new supplement, especially if your child takes prescription medication, has a confirmed food allergy, or has a history of reactions to botanicals or functional mushrooms.

How to use

One scoop into 8-12 oz of cold water, juice, a smoothie, or oatmeal. Once a day, ideally with breakfast. If your child takes thyroid medication, please space the scoop at least four hours away from that dose. New to greens powders? Start with half a scoop the first week.
